Using the digital mapping tool, you will reconstruct and analyze a slave narrative. You will map the key movements and events in the author’s life and provide interpretation or explanation of these events. This is original research and should be professionally completed, meaning worthy of publication. One, you must thoroughly understand the narrative (read it MANY times) and be an expert on it. Two, you should conduct relevant research (you need to be judicious in your selection of sources) on the narrative, the author, or aspects of slavery/abolition that the narrative raises. Three, you must draft the story map and revise it multiple times.
